Do you know your expiration date? Strategy to face it

We asked them what percentage of jobs are at risk with this advance in artificial intelligence, and what they told us was shocking; 80% of jobs in Juárez could be replaced by robots! This figure is worrying for everyone, even for them, who agree that AI should be regulated under the laws of the different countries that seek to implement it, as the unemployment levels that its indiscriminate use would cause are catastrophic.
We saw an example of a protest against the indiscriminate use of AI recently with the SAG-AFTRA strike in Hollywood, so there are precedents for agreements to which companies give in to preserve the human factor on their payrolls, so not all hope is lost.
However, we can’t consider that the only solution to not becoming “obsolete” in our jobs (even my job as a writer is in danger—I’m looking at you, ChatGPT). So we asked them what skills are necessary to remain competitive.
Their answer was clear: you have to learn about AI, its maintenance, and the different fields of application available for these tools. However, they cautioned that they don’t know of any educational institute in Mexico that offers the courses necessary to understand all this language. Even so, they strongly recommend reading the so-called white papers to learn from them, just as this magnificent team did, and even taking online courses.
